New lines in custom laminated glass products

After the purchase of new equipment, Watson Glass has expanded it’s offering of custom laminated glass. In addition to our range of PVB (polyvinyl butyral) interlayer which comes in clear, grey, translucent, and polar white, we can now offer the following;

EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) interlayer.

EVA is an alternative to PVB interlayer, and can be used to laminate decorative finishes within the glass. EVA also has a high resistance to moisture.

SGP (Sentry Glass Plus) interlayer

SGP is an ionoplast interlayer. SGP is far stronger than PVB or EVA interlayer. It is around five times stronger than PVB, and around one hundred times more rigid. It can offer strength, safety and security, even if both panels of toughened glass in the laminate have failed.
